The Christos collection has long been established as the couture collection for the classic, romantic bride. The line is now being designed by esteemed designer Amsale .As creative director, Amsale has upheld the Christos legacy for tradition while infusing a touch of her own modern sensibility into the collection. Amsale sees Christos as a natural extension of her own collection, as both are rooted in classic timelessness. A romantic at heart, she reveres Christos as a venue for her more traditional side. Christos collection of couture wedding gowns evokes a feeling of fairy-tale, femininity, and romance.Christos gowns have long stood out for their impeccable heirloom quality. Amsale uses the finest silks, French laces and silk organza as staples of the collection. Christos designs are especially known for their use of Alen on lace.  The lace has been created in France for hundreds of years and has become one of the hallmarks of the Christos line.  Christos gowns are created in nearly every silhouette and give brides a timeless look with a bit of a twist.  In true couture fashion; techniques, styles, and embellishments are often tweaked just a bit to lend a hint of modern appeal.  The effect results in a gown that will retain its classic roots while imbibing the brides fashion sensibilities.    Hollywood has embraced Amsale's Christos collection, featuring the gowns in the Katherine Heigl film 27 Dresses, and the August 2009 film The Accidental Husband, starring Uma Thurman.
